This martini will take you back to the good old days, when pilots made more than minimum wage and you could take a deep breath without encroaching on the passenger next to you. Plus, it’s pretty.
2 oz. gin, preferably Plymouth
½ oz. fresh lemon juice
½ oz. Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
¼ oz. (or more) Crème de Violette Liqueur
Shake with ice, strain into a glass, and garnish with good quality maraschino cherries.
